Dr. Kevin Passero is the Center Director for Green Healing Wellness.
Dr. Passero is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and graduated from one of only eight accredited Naturopathic Medical Schools in North America. His mission is to bring cutting edge natural and holistic therapies to the Washington DC metro area and to educate people on the value of naturopathic medicine across the country. His practice focuses on an individualized approach to medicine. His goal is to help people discover why their body is in distress and find the solutions necessary to restore optimal health.
Dr. Passero completed four years of post-graduate medical education at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon after receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Colorado. His Naturopathic training included extensive education in natural therapeutics in addition to detailed training in case management and scientific principles of medicine. While there, Dr. Passero trained with some of the nation’s leading doctors in the field of natural medicine.
Dr. Passero continues his post-graduate training through ongoing participation in continuing education and preceptor-ship with other experts in the field of natural medicine. In addition to private practice, Dr. Passero works with leading manufacturers of natural health products and as a Naturopathic Consultant for several companies interested in bringing information and products pertaining to natural health to the public in a responsible manner. He is also the host of the popular radio show “The Essentials of Healthy Living” that airs weekly in the Washington DC area. This work keeps him abreast of the latest medical research regarding natural medicine.
In his practice, Dr. Passero focuses on restoring harmony to both the body and mind using treatments that incorporate botanical medicine, nutrient therapy, hormone balancing and nutritional programs. Through education and guidance patients are able to optimal health
He is a former President of the Maryland Naturopathic Doctors Association and is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
